The Historic Grange Estate, 143 Myrtle Avenue, is holding its semi-annual “Attic Treasures Sale,”
As they say, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”
In preparation, The Friends of the Grange will be accepting
donations that are clean and in good repair for the sale,
until 4 p.m., Sept. 17.
Acceptable items include:
books, household items and tools in good working order, costume jewelry, pocketbooks, dishes, knick-knacks and such.
Unacceptable items include: furniture, electronics (TVs,
stereos, computers), clothing and children’s toys.

Tours of the mansion at the Historic Grange Estate begin April 10 through October.
The tours are conducted by volunteers, 1-4 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays.
Admission for the tour is $4 for adults, $1 for children 12 and under.
No tours are offered on May 29 and 30, July 3 and 4, Sept. 4 and 5 and Haverford Township Day, Oct. 2. Private tours for groups are available by appointment by calling the Estate’s office at 610-446-4958.
